Shell |
Mild
steel plate with dished end, electrically welded
throughout. Fitted with steel skirt ring. Suitable
lugs are welded to the shell to carry the cover
clamps. All shells are galvanized. With the
exception of the larger sizes, all shell and bases
are of single-piece construction providing smooth
internal surfaces for ease of cleaning. |

Cover |
Aluminum
alloy casting. Covers of all containers other than
9-litre are fitted with quick-action filler caps.
Covers are help in place by heavy duty cast iron C
clamps and hand-screws, enabling the covers to be
quickly and easily removed. Material feed-pipes
are aluminum and fitted with ball valves. |

Agitation |
M.S.
galvanized paddle shaft running in renewable gland
and steady bearing carried on feed pipes inside
containers. Detachable stirring handle. Paddles
are of exclusive three -bladed scroll type,
providing efficient agitation at low speeds right
to the bottom. Paddles are of cast aluminum. |

Air Motor |
Agitation
can also be provided by a specially designed
Bullows L20 Air Motor which can be used with a
full range of Bullows pressure feed containers.

Pressure Reducing
Valve Unit |
This
is an exclusive Bullows feature and is a
self-contained unit, flange mounted on the
container. It consists of pressure reducing valve,
air inlet connection, two outlet connection,
safety valve and shrouded pressure gauge. |

Inner Containers |
Where
operating conditions demand frequent change of
materials or color, the use of a separate inner
container can save valuable time in cleaning out
the pressure feed container. Bullows inner
containers are available to suit the standard
pressure feed containers, and are of galvanized
m.s. material. Other materials of construction
like stainless steel, aluminum, can be provided
for specific applications. |
