The V2556 Air
Filter and Reducing Valve will remove condensed water
and solid matter from the compressed air supply, and
will reduce its pressure to an adjustable lower
pressure.
The V2556 has
one reduced pressure outlet, and is generally used in
spray painting operations restricted to single gun
spraying.
Other
applications are found in instrumentation and control,
where low air quantities and pressure are involved
The reduced
valve is adjustable from line pressure to zero, and
will maintain pressure within 0.2 kg / cm2
from no flow to full flow
Air supply
pressure should not exceed 8.5 kg / cm2.
CONNECTIONS
High pressure
inlet : 3/8" B.S.P. (M)
Reduced pressure
outlet : 1/4" B.S.P. (M)
SPECIAL
FEATURES
Integrated
design of air filter and pressure regulator results in
a compact unit.
Pressure gauge
indicates regulated air pressure in kg/cm2
and lb/in2.
The filtering
medium consisting of a labyrinth stack of phenolic
mouldings is self-cleaned and drains into an adequate
sump provided with a drain cock.
Ruggedness and
reliability due to extremely robust and simple parts.
The reducing
valve is self-relieving, so that the outlet pressure
will not rise above the set pressure, even if there is
damage to the valve seat.
On adjusting to
a lower pressure, it will blow off air until the
pressure on the outlet side falls to the new low
pressure.
